Electroacoustic sounds and textures play alongside fuzzed up guitars and thick basses, whilst vocals jump between catchy pop melodies, classical choruses, and screaming mathcore; all enhanced with processing to broaden the sound palette.
The rhythm section focuses on a blend of mosh-ready riffs, jilted prog grooves whilst retaining a danceable bounce.

Songs vary greatly in style, leaning towards theatrical and dramatic progressions, brought to life in the studio through multi-layered arrangements and complex orchestrations.

After playing their first show in late 2022, early 2023 immediately saw the release of Von's first EP: "AF", consisting of 5 tracks, each vastly different from the other.
Their second EP, titled FA, is a conceptual mirror to their first, releasing in early 2024. With a giant back catalogue of music already written, new music is continuously being added to their ever-evolving live shows.
Individually, all members are highly skilled musicians - Charlie is an actively performing bassist and guitarist, dabbling with saxophone and beat making from time to time; James is a PhD student in Music, having been a classically trained composer and sound designer; Sam, in addition to being a fully self-taught guitarist, is a skilled writer and lyricist with a keen eye for detail, penning any and all ideas he has to paper.
